Mr. Odran Reid (Chair) Odran is a lecture in economics, planning and local development in the Dublin Institute of Technology. He is a professional economist and spatial planner and is a graduate of both TCD and DIT.
Odran has extensive experience in the public, private and NGO sectors having worked with the Greater London Council, the Inner London Education Authority, The Institute of International and European Affairs, Northside Partnership, two members of the European Parliament, being the first CEO of NorDubCo as well as establishing his own consultancy firm specialising in planning and corporate governance.
As well as being Chairperson of Northside Counselling Service, Odran is a director and Company Secretary of Northside Homecare Service, and has held many previous directorships in NGO’s and State bodies. He is currently a member of the Planning and Property Development Strategic Policy Committee (SPC) in Dublin City Council and the Economics and Enterprise SPC in Fingal County Council. He is a member of the QQI Appeals Panel and is secretary of the Irish Branch of the Institute of Economic Development.
Ms. Edel Moloney (Vice-Chair) Edel Moloney BA., MSc. Organisational Psychology, MSc. Management, C.Psychol.,Ps.S.I. Edel is a chartered Psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) and a member of its division of Work and Organisational Psychologists (DWOP). She is the Change and Development Manager in Speedpak, a social enterprise providing work experience and accredited training to long- term unemployed people living in disadvantages communities or who experience social exclusion. She was a member of the Board of the Discovery Community Training Centre in Darndale for 5 years and was chair for the final 2 years. She was a member of the board of Breastcheck and subsequently the National Cancer Screening Service (NCSS) during which time she was a member of the audit committee and chaired the governance committee. She is currently a practitioner member of CORU’s Psychologists Registration Board.
Edel is a Certified Mediator and worked for a number of years as a voluntary mediator with Community Law and Mediation in Coolock.
She is currently a Trustee of the Pobal Pension Schemes comprising 60 individual company schemes.
Ms. Pamala Meates (Finance oversight & Secretary)
Pamela is the Finance and Administration Manager and Company Secretary of Northside Partnership. As Company Secretary for Northside Partnership, Pamela supports the work of the Northside Community Forum in this capacity.
She is a Fellow of Accounting Technicians Ireland and a student of Chartered Accountants Ireland. Pamela has 13 years experience in the Community & Voluntary sector, having worked previously with Community Law and Mediation.As well as being a Director of Northside Counselling Service, Pamela is a director and Company Secretary of Darndale Belcamp Village Centre and Darndale Belcamp Initiative.
